I want a freakin sequel! Ooh I loved it! I rented it first, bought more tokens just so I could upgrade and keep it. A yandere! He's a borderline (no one dies so I'm not giving him the full title, but that's okay, because I'm not sure if I could like him if he had killed someone) yandere! Great characters, steamy scenes and fantastic art of course. And this trope might turn you off, the events of this story may worry you, but ultimately I'm impressed with how the author made a scenario where the love interest comes around through knowledge of himself and not through brain washing. I'm being vague, I know. But I don't want to spoil too much. I already feel bad for giving stuff away, but ugh, read it, if you like possessive characters (not in real life, that's not healthy, please keep fiction and reality separate). And don't if it will make you uncomfortable. I myself really liked this and want more. 7862 March 16, 2019

If you're able to separate fiction and reality and don't mind a yandere, this is a really great read! There's lots of exciting times and suspense that really keeps the flow going. I'll probably end up rereading this again at some point so I'm glad I decided to rent it permanently rather than for only 48 hours. If you're not into possessive guys with selfish mindsets and sketchy ways of doing things though, probably don't read this one. Also be sure to avoid that type of guy in real life too because that's just a lot of alarm bells that need to be listened to unless it's fiction. 12077 September 12, 2019

Well, that was certainly an interesting read! Started out cute but then quickly took a turn onto what-the-heck-crazy-corner! However, despite the weirdness of the story and the possible stockholm-syndrome from the uke, this wasn't a bad manga. The story actually took its time to develop, and despite the seme's obsessive and crazy tendencies, it was obvious that he genuinely cared for the uke (which is more than I can say for the last manga I read!). 8724 April 20, 2019

I rented this and didn't end up upgrading. Non-con and kidnapping ARE my cup of tea (and make no mistake, the first sex scene in here is straight up non-con), but this didn't do it for me. Yasuharu's a paint-by-numbers possessive/popular yandere top, missing the instability, quirkiness or depth that can make that type interesting. Yuma is more unique, and his pessimism and anxiety are relatable, but he doesn't actually grow as a character or overcome his problems 14721 December 28, 2019

At first I really loved the compassion and respect Yasuharu shown towards Yuma but the rest of the book is just unsettling to read [ It's aparent that Yuma wasn't comfortable with what Yashura is doing at times, I felt that his feelings weren't acknowledged enough]. The side characters are kind of interesting and I kind of wanted to see more development from his co-worker [what her intentions were]. Even though in the end everybody kind of gets what they want it doesn't feel very fulfilling at all. 21885 September 22, 2020

Great story, wonderful art, maybe needs a trigger warning? As I stated this is a beautiful story about two people that need to be needed, only one of them has accepted and realized it though. I disagree with people that say this is Stockholm or say Yasu is crazy. This in my opinion is a immature snap judgement from people that do not understand all love is different. No one is encouraging anyone to lock anyone up; to be honest this story touches on workplace sexual harassment, bullying, and stalking. ( I took off a star because I felt like they let the stalker off too easy, I get why...Yuma is a celebrity. No scandal...still) Like I was saying love means different things to different people. This is fiction. Yuma is in denial and Yasu purposefully does not cross certain lines. There are many cute moments as well. This is worth the price. If you want a simple, traditional love story skip it. Don't give it a poor rating due to your prejudice. 20602 July 19, 2020

I really enjoy one-shots, so I may be a bit biased. That said, the story was good and the art was great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the use of, basically, kidnapping/forceable detention, which pushed the limits to almost non-con in my opinion. Since non-con isn't my cup of tea in any situation, I docked my review. Overall, though, a happy ending with the loose ends all tied up! 12693 October 08, 2019

It was pretty good! Yandere Top without any actual killing, thankfully. He's SMART about how he keeps people away. But he's also pretty damn upfront about the fact that he legitimately doesn't give a flying fuck if what he's doing is illegal or not, as long as his bae loves him in the end. And I honestly love this character as much as he scares the mess outta me. XD Always scared he was literally about to take a chunk of flesh off Yuma each time he bit/kissed him. Our dear Yuma is...well, a hardworking, diligent, but at the same time spoiled Brat XD He doesn't stand out to me much, but he's not a bad character. Tis a normal male M.C. lol. There is a lot of dub-con (non-consensual sex) in this novel before the main character gives into pleasure after being subdued multiple times by his childhood friend who has an obsession with him. If you are not into this type of manga, I would not recommend buying this. 21265 August 21, 2020

One of my favorites, and I've read many! This somehow manages to be dangerously spicy and endearing at the same time. And honestly, although I was concerned at first about uhm. Yasuharu's yandere side. Everything ended up being okay in the end! Like another reader said, I rented it first and came back to buy it because I thought it was just that good! I read through 10 reviews and still went in unsure if I'd like it. Definitely cuter than expected. Scenes of Dub-Con, but penetration is “consensual “ ( ignore the Stockholm Syndrome ?) so not as dark as expected. It's interesting for sure. The story of two life long friends that have severe codependency issues with one another. The seme is crazy about his bestie. Being bffs isn't enough for him anymore and he'll stop at nothing to ensure he's always the closest person to him. Like lock him up and throw away the key! He's possessive and very pure in a way of how deeply he loves his bff. Just don't get in between them lol!!! I rented this because I'll probably never reread it. It's not my cuppa. I bought this rather than rented due the other review giving it a 5 star, and now I regretted due to how horrible this story is. The seme is literally a manipulative psycho. He imprisons the uke and touches and licks him all over day and night, claiming he wants to make the uke can't live without him. He even boasts to a friend when he wonders why the uke is absent from work. And rather than calling the police, the friend just warned the seme on the severity of false imprisonment and left it at that. When the uke was so aroused from days of foreplay and wanted sex, the seme denied it claiming sex is crossing the line (so sexual harrassment and kidnapping and imprisonment is not??) forcing the uke into admitting his feelings for him (stockholm syndrome) before he returned the feeling and became officially boyfriends which meant sex is okay now. The author even introduced a stalker girl who tresspassed to save the imprisoned uke as if saying here's someone worse so the seme isn't so bad! 27904 December 18, 2021

It....was an okay read. The story and relationship felt rushed and forced. In a way, it's nice the feelings are mutual between them in the end, but at the same time it didn't feel natural... so I didn't really enjoy the story. I really enjoyed this story! The top is deranged in a really subtle way, at first, before breaking out the chains and kidnapping his love interest. And even once he does, they only have full-on sex once the bottom admits he loves him back. The bottom developing something of a pain kink by the end was a delightful surprise, and I did not see it coming!This was a surprisingly happy story, despite the bottom being melancholic and the top being yandere, and recommend it for anyone who enjoys obsessive love! 25568 May 30, 2021

The yandere elements were pretty toned down (which I prefer), so I found it enjoyable. The whole imprisonment thing isn't taken very seriously and there aren't any consequences for it, so if that's not your cup of tea, I wouldn't recommend it for you. If you're looking for something along the general plot line but without the darkness, this hits the spot. The extras were also cute.
