We recommend Kanako Sakurai's stories to those that want to read more mature romance; they're about things like office romances or one-night stands. She really captures how it feels to be an adult, working woman in love. Her stories are different to the often over-the-top happy romances found in shojo manga; they move at a slower pace and take longer to get into, but leave a lasting impact. They also feature a wide variety of unique heroes, from confident players to shyer, more passive types. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough.
