This was the first Harlequin manga that I bought and have been hooked since (I now own close to a hundred and counting). I also own the novel. If you like romantic, light-reading, I recommend you read the novel as well. Brooke is as stubborn as a mule. Given her childhood and family background , I couldn't really blame her for being too cautious - she built all these seemingly impenetrable walls around her to protect herself from being hurt and consequently refusing herself to find true happiness. Jed Matthews is your typical alpha male - handsome, rich, intelligent, arrogant as all hell, but oh-so-perfect (I want him!). I loved that his arrogance was within reason (if there is such a thing) and that he was very patient with Brooke. Story is sigh-worthy and one you can't help but remember in a really long time. Highly recommended.

Very cliche, 100% cliche but it was ADORABLE AND I'M OKAY WITH IT'S CLICHE-NESS as long as there is a good plot with the cliche. The only reason why I gave 4 stars was because of all the cliche, -Short Summary- Hurt and broken woman meets rich guy and rich guy falls for her and does everything right and she still treats him like dirt but in the end, they make up when it was really her fault in the first place and they live happily ever after, awww <3 not to mention the most cliche thing about this was the fact that the son HAD to look like a mini version of the father...SO CLICHE ^_^'

This has to be one of the best Harlequin books I have ever read. Finally a book where the woman and man are not trying to force a loveless marriage but decides to actually get to know each other and raise their son. For both his sake and theirs. Loved every minute of it!

Wow it is so perfect,I can really relate to the main character and the drawing is lovely too. Bravo bravo ;.)
