Very cute omegaverse story surprisingly without noncon.

Great art, steamy and passionate sex, and a relatively grounded but sweet story! Only reason it's not 5 stars is that (perhaps because of its smooth handling of things) it doesn't stand out in my mind. But when I'm in my library looking for something simple but hot and sweet, I remember how nice it is and give it a read. The main reason I wanted to review is for anyone concerned about potential content warnings: SHORT VERSION: They communicate effectively and have mutual respect for each other, mitigating any potential ick. DETAILS: 1) Unspecified age gap. Doesn't cause any issues with their power dynamic. Plays out more like Alpha being a local celebrity. 2) Alpha is much higher-ranked in the same company. It's a driving factors in some of the story's conflicts. 3) Omega does face discrimination, from sexual advances to accusations of theft, but he takes it like a pro. Chapters 7+ address point 3 very directly as the couple basically advocates for and works towards workplace equality.

It's unfinished at the time of this review but it's pretty good. I really like the authors other works so I thought I'd give this a go too. I don't think it's as good as their other works but it's still enjoyable, the characters are compatible and it's quite sweet
