I was expecting more character development but it was disappointing. The story made it such that Sarah put herself through way too much suffering for Rome's love, and in my opinion it just wasn't worth it. Was quite hard to read.

Sarah and Diane were best friends. Sarah fell for her boss Rome. Rome fell for and married Diane. The story starts after Diane and her 2 children meet a tragic fate. I found this story to be quite compelling. Im looking forward to reading the second volume. The storyline felt fleshed out and the character decisions didn't feel overly rushed.
