There's fluffy yaoi you read at the end of a hard day to get all warm and fuzzy, and there's the serious kind you choose when you're sad and you want some company. This is the second kind. It's a mature story of unrequited love that lets you understand why sex, no matter how fantastic, is not enough. I love the expressive art, the writing, the extensive inner monologues, but I'm reserving a star for the ending- the pacing has been great so far and I hope we won't have a rushed wrap-up in the next volume. PS: Renta folks, please tell us if a story is ongoing or completed in Japan, and how many total chapter/volumes are out there!

Good art, but, the vomit drawings are pretty intense.If you're not good with gross things I wouldn't recommend. It's still ongoing but I'm also suspicious that the Uke's kink is vomit or dirty sex in regards to body fluids. So, be warned about that.

I locked in to write this review. It definitely deserves more than a total of 3.5 stars so I hope this helps boost it more for those who this matters to. I'll start off by saying the Ichimiya is a wonderfully green flagged individual and I love how his character developed over the course of 3 volumes. He never gave up to get what he wanted and he was so respectful of his own boundaries. Miyama grew a lot throughout the volumes too, even though the second volume in particular was very heartbreaking. The story kept veering in directions I was not expecting it to but could not complain. Heavy on the emotional tag, it's a lovely happy ending (because we love love) but their journey was not the easiest. Kudos to Ichimiya for being an amazing character, and Miyama for his growth. If you're looking for a read that would get your emotions through a rollercoaster ride, this is one for you. Please give it a chance.
