Based off the first chapter - it's a dubious buy at best. The story set-up should make this a must-buy for all the vampire fans out there. However, the plot, pacing and frankly silly set-up makes this a rental only recommendation. The ML lead has no redeeming character traits and the FL has an attack do the “insta love” after being trapped and imprisoned. Take off a star is dub-con is not your thing.

I agree with the previous comments. They definitely could have gotten more out of this story. I read up to chapter 4, and it didn't particularly impress or move me. But if you just like a little hentai and a tiny touch of dub-con, it's okay.

Good read with lots of spicy scenes! Although it doesn't reveal right away there is some dub-con, it is on brand with the whole vampire thing. Def no sugary affection?at least initially. Story can easily be passed along solely based on first two volumes (as the pacing and plot is rushed) but the build is a slow burn and gets better by the third book. The MC is pretty naive and insecure, but it's still cute seeing two lonely characters fall for and realize they need each other.
