Yoshiro has had hidden, unrequited feelings for his childhood friend, Dai, for several years. He constantly turns down cute girls when they ask him out.
Oblivious to Yoshiro's feelings, Dai envies Yoshiro's popularity with girls, and always makes a fuss about wanting a girlfriend. Yoshiro has no intention of ever telling his airheaded friend the truth and resigns himself to a life of fluxing between appreciation for their friendship and sorrow that they can't be more.
