I was absolutely enthralled by this story. I picked up the first volume maybe five hours before writing this review and ended up just binging through the whole rest of the series. So sweet and heartwarming. I expected a joke story from the premise but I got so much more out of it. Will happily recommend this one.

Hilarious, heartwarming, and overall just a good read. Protag seriously needs to grow a braincell, though, even a single one would be good.

My first ever story read here in Renta!The story is actually funny at the beginning. Ohdai and Atsuto are both very interesting characters. Funny parts include: where Atsuto was saying "Hahaha" yet he still had that expressionless face on oh gosh HAHAHAA, next is on how Ohdai was so oblivious of Atsuto's feelings, to think that he wished on the shooting star with the hopes of finding a sexy girlfriend yet in the end, he was too focused about Atsuto's almost-exploding lust gauge the whole time that he could not even bother looking at other girls. Also, the last volume was really wholesome for me as the characters are able to properly communicate with each other regarding their feelings. The shooting star is also a funny one, why does it always pop up in time when Ohdai makes a wish HAHAHAHA. My favorite was probably volume 4!!. The "scenes" were also steamy and sexy, esp how they do it. It was just that the prep part was not really done properly, thus, pain is what comes after HAHAHA.

I really love the best friends to lovers trope so this story was definitely right up my alley! I can definitely relate to Atsuto's struggles as I'm a quiet person myself, so Ohdai is the perfect complement and balance for Atsuto. I'm glad this story wrapped up well too. One of my faves!

I don't normally enjoy the high school best friends turned lovers trope, which I find overdone, but this one was cute and refreshing. Ohdai is a typical clueless uke who doesn't realize his friend's or his own feelings until it's almost too late. Atsuto is a similarly clueless seme who has issues expressing himself. What I enjoyed about this series was the comedy, the unique twist of the lust gauge, and yes, the smut. Artistically not the best - I would have liked to see the SFXs replaced with English. Big kudos for not censoring the dicks!
