Much more meditative than the usual TL manga, this oneshot explores recognizing love lost and found again. The bad boy here looks the part, even as an adult, and you can practically see the swagger. The female lead is attractive in a realistic way, and she isn't playing the coy ingenue here. While she shows some hesitance toward reigniting the flame, it's pretty clear that maturity has given her clarity. What I really enjoyed was that their relationship seemed very real. None of that innocent passivity is apparent in the female lead, and the male lead is not interested in forcing or coercing his way into her heart (or pants). It's a welcome change from the usual character tropes. They both take active and thoughtful roles in their lives, and it's a joy to see character growth in such a short story. Not a story if you're looking for fantasy hotness - the sex is secondary to the story - but it's well worth the $2 I spent.
