Extremely sweet and very funny, this was equal parts dramatic and light, and I enjoyed every second. Aki is a Grade A SIMP for Haru, wanting to cherish, encourage, uplift, and devour him, as all good puppy tops do, but battles with silent jealousy and doubts. Haru is the backbone of the comedy duo. He is super adorable, if a little romantically dense, but he also battles with his own insecurities. Misunderstandings and unspoken words are the core of the drama, but it's all very light and the comedic chemistry between them is fantastic, allowing this to be a very sweet read. This is a relationship building story, so smutty stuff is minimal and only at the end, but it was worth it because Aki was hilarious; I love laughter between the sheets scenes.
