I really like Betty Neels' books, so I keep trying them in manga form, but I keep being disappointed. It's a sweet and innocent little story, the kind that Betty Neels writes frequently and I usually enjoy in text, but comes off bland in manga form. That said, I think I would probably like this manga more if I hadn't read the full novel previously.
