I'm up to chapter 7 in this story. It initially starts out being mostly a sexy story, so I was surprised when it became one of the more tender and emotional stories about midway through chapter 5. It suddenly becomes very sweet. The art is a little unique, too - even the seme looks cute! Looking forward to reading the rest of the chapters.

I'm 6 chapters in, and still not sure how I feel about this story. Makoto is interesting, but I feel like a lot of the pages center more on his relationships with everybody else - his sex friends - than his relationship with Shouta. Strangely, while we get most of the story from what Shouta sees, we still don't get much sense of he, himself. The other characters have more personality, while he's just...there to move the story from point A to point B.

I agree that the stories all seem short, but they are all also rather sweet. All but the last are paranormal stories. The first two are about the wizard and the real estate agent. The third is about a doctor and an invisible man (more sweet than sexy, despite that trope). The last involves the usual train trope, although in this case one guy is attempting to rescue another from the molesting. It is almost a great story. They were all almost great, but generally fell a bit short of the mark each time, which is why it's only 4 stars.

Pretty sweet collection of stories. The second story has an unpleasant noncon scene between one of the main characters and another guy. But I appreciate that it wasn't a noncon scene between both main characters, at least. Most of the guys in these stories are debating relationships with people they already know, so many of the stories are less dialogue and more headspace. The art is of the not-too-detailed background variety, which leads you to focus on the characters more. In general I like all the stories in here, because they seem slightly less "trope-y" than many others you would find here.

The artwork is old fashioned and thick, but I feel that matches the timeline of the stories, most of which take place in New York pre-WWII. That said, while I usually enjoy a good mystery, the culprits of each story were easily discernable. Stories are less romance, more sex, and there's definitely sadistic overtones and some pseudo psychology to each of them. Which can make them interesting, but also occasionally confusing to read. Not a bad book, but not great either.

This is the 3rd book in the Atsushi and Yoritomo series. I'm not quite as fond of this one as the rest, but I think that's just because there is *so* much cosplay in it. I do love the art and stories, as always. And I just adore the stories with the tsundere brother. And even though they aren't gay erotica, the Tanaka and Mr. Yamada stories always antertain me - as do the anthropomorphic snacks!

This is the 3rd book in a series, after Time for Work and Time for Business. There is a very small amount of smut - these stories definitely lean more to the cute side. It does feel like the goal of the mangaka is to dress up the main character in some kind of outfit with each story, whether it be funny or sexy. The stories in this one are more concentrated on side characters, so it would be better to start with Time for Work to get to know the 3 original guys.

I found this an interesting story with a lot of depth. No sexy bits - it doesn't really get beyond kissing. But I liked the slow development between Fujieda and Sakuraba. Truthfully it was more bromance than anything else, but I still found their relationship development to be a very good read. And I love the explanation of the title. This first book does end on a cliffhanger, though!

Saw Momoki's art seems a little more...pointy? Than others, but it's a minimalist style that I really like. The story tends to be pretty typical of the genre; the main conflict is with Ikuto's own insecurities. Although Eiji's manager and both men's families have a part to play. 5 stars because I really love Kashima-kun and want to see it here on Renta!

Kind of a strange manga. The characters have a density to them you don't usually see, so I thought at first this was based on a,mystery novel. But apparently the mangaka created the story, based on the author's note. It's definitely one you have to be in the right mood for, as the mystery is the central part of the story, and the sex secondary.
