This was one of the first yaoi I ever read and it set the bar incredibly high! The characters are so specific ? they are real people. Not just the male leads but the secondary and side characters as well. And the artwork is top notch, the artist conveys so much feeling and information with such economy of line. The story deals with the idea of discomfort and taboos so don't be surprised to find situations that feel uncomfortable. It's part of the journey.
