Firstly, I have no complaints about the artwork. Not only are the character designs gorgeous, but the attention to detail was impressive too (e.g. the exteriors of the buildings and interiors). The story itself had an interesting message about humans and our relationship to the environment, which is still relevant today. A few plot points did feel a little bit contrived, but I think the author did well overall with the storyline and world-building considering that this manga is a one-shot.
