It's an old school type of romance where each main male and female character have to confront with the truth about their feelings. I like it mainly how it illustrated the flaws or behaviors they had for one another in the past and present. Still the writing was a bit dramatic and pretty slow pace. ( This made me finish it all at once ) And I can probably read it again for fun in the future :)O BTW story is from the United America. So the characters and places were easier to relate as an American. ( Don't know if that would help or matter)

What I have to say is just a reminder of what the description has mentioned about having psychology and dark theme.( If these themes are not your cup of tea then the reading can be difficult though in my opinion the author did communicate well and simple about a personal event.) In terms of the story and character it was well done. The pacing of the book felt naturally done and realistic. The characters in the reading do have their own identity about what they believe in.

In terms of story. There is character development and is well done in a slow pace. I do believe this reading is best for an adult audience.
