Ravaged by a powerful demon that comes to him every night, Count Erwar Del Diav has been enduring the pains and pleasures of their relationship in silence.
His despair deepens when he is told this is all a result of a curse placed on him by an unknown person. But who can this person be? Meanwhile, Erwar's powerful yet possessive friend, Grand Duke Kaijack, arrives at the Diav country estate to take Erwar back to the capital.
