During the Edo period, the gods tasked Momotaro with exterminating demons that possessed and drained human life force with parasitic "bugs." Alongside his loyal vassals--Kensuke, Saruhiko, and Yukijiro--Momotaro fought valiantly until one day, a powerful demon nearly annihilated them all.
