The plot is cruelly lacking, it does not make sense and I can't fathom how they could fall in love under these circumstances...

I don't usually mind PWP, but really... The characters weren't fleshed out very well, their family names kept changing, important things happened without warning or lead up, there was no room to develop any sort of feelings on any side (not even for Stockholm syndrome)... I think it tried to go for shock factor a couple times but I didn't care enough for it to actually be shocking. Came off more confusing and out of left field.
