Absolutely stunning story and art style. I find that alot of stand alone Mangas feel too rushed and there isn't enough plot but this one was different. It was a very powerful and emotional story that had me invested and really feeling for the characters. The two main characters have such a soft, pure and honest relationship it was a great read. I will be revisting this story later.

I had high expectations for this title, and unfortunately, they were not met. The treatment of blindness was very, very romanticized and infantilized. The back story of the main character was never truly cleared up. I read to the end, but I honestly have no idea how the two of them got to their conclusion. I had to suspend a lot of disbelief. While I absolutely love stories with angst and serious plot-lines, this was not for me and felt saccharine sweet despite the bloodiness.

WOW this was beautiful!!! Such a great, well written story and gorgeous artwork. They share such a gentle, wonderful love. This story left me feeling warm and satisfied. I wish it was longer but it was still perfect as is. Definitely a favorite now.
