Loved the main couple, Ai and Ko, so much! They were perfect! Cute and sincere and Ko was so funny with all of his facial expressions. Loved it when he sees Ai crying and he thinks it's because he ate all of her lunch she had offered to him. So precious! Their relationship started off with a major misunderstanding, but they were meant for one another. On the other hand I didn't like Ai's best friend Moe and Ai's boss that much. I didn't like that she never once really came out and told him that she was trying to get him to see Ai as a potential girlfriend. The whole time she just enjoys her time with him, but feels guilty about it. Duh, you should be! Anyway, everything gets resolved because Ai is the bigger person and truly falls in love with Ko. Art is great, clean and cute. I really like this mangaka's work. She hardly ever disappoints. It's really good! :D
This was really enjoyable and cute at times. The h is really sweet and clumsy and awkward, but she's diligent and earnest and this doesn't go unnoticed. I really liked that we got the H's POV in one of the later chapters to see how he first noticed her and what drew her to him, pretty cute. I appreciated that he wasn't a playboy boss and had standards when approaching a woman. But the way he went about it in the beginning would make anyone question his motives. But the man had his reasons. That interview in the first chapter is lol funny! He's so blunt with her and she's so clueless about anything in regards to men and dating. It moves along fairly quick, but it's not confusing or convoluted. Loved that they got their HEA. It's pretty good, arts not my fave though.
This was nice, not amazing, but not bad either. Kinda low on the angst, which is good for me, because I don't really like drama for the sake of drama. The first two chapters are part one and two of the main couples relationship. Starting from how they met and got involved with one another and falling in love and part two is the breakup and eventual reconciliation. The guy is the type to tease the one he likes and the girl is kinda a doormat. The extra story was about high school childhood friends who kept denying their feelings towards each other. Nothing special. The art is pretty in a kinda late nineties- early 2000's shoujo way. It's perfect for a lazy afternoon when you have nothing better to do. Give it a try.
This is so cute, not perfect, but really cute and funny. The h is so dense, kinda TSTL, but she's also just plain adorable in how wacky her way of thinking is, it's laugh out loud, really. The H is really hot, but has a bad temper and isn't very nice, but he puts up with all of her quirks, so I can't be mad at him, kinda admire him for that. This is just completely off the rocker crazy at how fast the smexy times start, but at the same time the flow of the story is pretty good. I feel like the H is more relatable than the h, he seems more grounded and realistic. While the h clearly lives in lalaland, makes sense since she's a romance writer, lol! Also not a fan at how cliche her way of thinking is at times, like if I look pretty he'll love me. Um, no. And I love the rival as well, he's pretty dreamy (so far). Art is lovely and seems really cool and modern, I like it! Can't wait to see where this goes and if these two can finally admit their feelings!
I found this on another "translation" site years ago and loved it so much I bought the first volume in Japanese even though I don't read Japanese! That's how much I love this manga! It's so funny! What a hilarious premise and I love childhood friends to lovers stories so much too! And let's not forget the art folks, it's amazing! So so very pretty, even though there is like an abundance of violence throughout this manga, which just makes it that more awesome to read and look at. The characters are all so likable (even the thugs that try to mess with our main guy) and cute and sweet and even kinda pure because of how long they each harbor an innocent love for one another, even though they don't always act innocent 100% of the time, amirite ;) ? So happy that Renta has this on their site and we get to see all the shenanigans these two get into along with a few lovey dovey moments peppered in here and there to make it a well rounded story and one to come back to over and over again.
I loved the premise of this manga, even though in the beginning I was definitely thrown off by the artwork. But the story is so strong and cute and sincere at times that I found the art growing on me. Love the two leads, so clueless and dense to anything about love and romance for different reasons. But they need each other so much and are definitely drawn together like they're each other's missing piece. Love how alpha Azuma gets over Rui, a totally new thing for him and how Rui gives Azuma the affection and tenderness and understanding that he's always craved without any hidden agenda. They are so sweet together and seeing their progress slowly but surely get to a deeper bond where they both can't even think about being without the other is so heartwarming. I hated that he was still seeing OW, but once she put her foot down and he realized she was the one, he changed his ways. Can't wait to see if these two will finally get their HEA together!
So good! So many funny and smexy moments throughout. I loved the art, it was stylish and clean and just made the entire manga that much better. Each story was perfect! I loved all the couples, all so different and at different stages in life so each one was interesting and not a recycled version of the one before it. I loved how there were so-true to life moments in each couple even though it was manga. The smexy moments seemed on point as well as the connections between each couple seemed to be realistic. And back to those smexy moments, just wow! This mangaka didn't hold back! It was great! With the beautiful art, realistic characters and dialogue it was the best I've ever read! The bunny outfits at the end reminded me of this one yaoi manga I read years ago and I've been a fan ever since, so this was not a miss for me. I loved how the women were just as into smexy times, if not more, than the fellas were. Definitely something I will come back to over and over again!
Loving this! There isn't really a story here or least noteworthy, but it's entertaining, that's for sure. There is zero logic to this manga. One moment it's the h in her flower shop thinking about her boss and how awkward she is and then bam! Hot guy in her room and let the smexy times roll! It's the perfect daydream scenario. It's super easy to fall for this, because I'm pretty sure we've all had a naughty daydream or hundreds when we've gotten bored at work. I'm kinda curious now about how she "called" out to this entity (is he like an incubus?). It's like fantasy overload and it's great! Art is ok, not my favorite. Very reminiscent of what's used for popular anime. Super short chapter, but now I want to see what all of her fantasies are since he seems determined to give them to her. What a nice guy! Looking forward to the next chapter.
Such a sweet, innocent, cute manga. The two main characters are lifelong friends, total besties and now roommates in a different city about to embark on a brand new journey at a new school together. Wow! It's typical shojo, filled with lots and lots of misunderstandings and missed opportunities to confess and love rivals all over the place! But I'm so happy that the H is extremely loyal and patient with the h. His feelings never waiver, no matter how wishy washy she gets. He's a keeper! He's strong willed, smart, easy going and cute! Pretty understandable why a lot of girls are after him, some more persistent than others. And the h is completely adorkable, nuff said! I love to read this after having my fill of all the OTT indulgent grown up love stories on Renta. It's like a palette cleanser, getting you ready for your next course, something light enough to delight your taste buds, but not heavy or filling. This is sweet and fluffy and totally rated PG. And it's like never ending!
Ok, I know this isn't listed as a comedy, but I was definitely chuckling and rolling my eyes at this story. The h seems to be TSTL. Seriously, 2 years of dating and it never seemed suspicious that her bf was married? And his wife? Don't get me started yo! But Japan does have a super duper strict adultery law and spouses can sue for damage and still stay married to their cheating spouse. But it almost seems like this husband and wife are scammers. That's just my opioion, will have to stay tuned to see if this poor girl gets out of this mess. She's got bad luck and taste with the fellas. So let's keep our fingers crossed her lawyer aka old classmate can work his magic at both her personal and love life. But she seriously needs to grow a backbone and get angry every now and then, sheesh! Don't let men run you! Even the lawyer is being kinda a d!ck, but I think it's b/c he could never get her back in the day. We'll see how this all turns out.
