Glad I rented instead of buying. This is so not worth buying. Mediocre art, dull characters, daft plot and no transitions (the quick jump from one scene to the next without any sort of transition made the story hard to follow. I would avoid this.

To be honest, this is a pretty 'meh'collection of stories. The first story (also the cover) was reasonably entertaining, if predictable, and the second story was about the friends of the couple from the first story, but was a fairly mediocre read. And the last three stories were so bland as to be utterly forgettable (seriously, I only just finished reading this and have already forgotten what happened in them). Usually in yaoi, a lack of story typically means more smut, but very few of these stories even had that (I usually prefer the plotty ones, but still enjoy the smut). The art wasn't all that great either. I always feel really bad leaving comments like this, because I know writing and drawing a manga is hard (heck, I can't even draw stick figures so it feels way wrong to criticize someone's art), but this just was not worth the points or the read.

DEFINITELY a kink manga, but still worth a read. I liked the characters, the story was fun in parts, and the art was nice. I think I prefer bodysuit fetish though.

I loved the first couple because Yu was such an interesting character - I loved how aware he was of his own flaws. The second couple didn't really grab my attention, but I enjoyed them when they mingled with the first couple (Yu's brother complex and his reaction to the brother's boyfriend were a LOT of fun!). Third couple was pretty steamy, and I enjoyed their interactions, but the fourth couple were VERY dull. I skimmed most of their story. Overall, this was a decent collection of stories, but I do find it a little irritating when I buy a manga for a story and end up with only one chapter because the rest is a collection. I mean, I know the blurb states this, but most manga story collections that only describe one story in the blurb usually focus on that story with a few other shorter ones. In this instance, I got 1.5 chapters of the story I bought the manga for a bunch of others that I was less invested in. I definitely wanted more of the first couple.

This is bee-yooooou-ti-ful! :D I gave this manga one of my rare 5-star ratings because it is so beautifully done. The story progressed at a nice pace, both characters were so endearing and quirky, the romance felt believable not forced, and the art was GORGEOUS. Loved it.

I could not follow this manga at all. I don't know if it's the translation or the actual story, but the plot made almost ZERO sense to me. I've read it twice now, and I still couldn't tell you what happened (and what I do understand comes from the blurb). Such a shame as the art is pretty nice, but you may as well be looking at a collection of pretty pictures and trying to make a story out of them in your head as actually trying to read this. Hard FAIL.

There isn't a whole lot of story to this manga (I'm not sure if it's a series or this one issue is it) but the art is absolutely gorgeous! All done in full colour.

Okay, this series actually deserves its high rating. There was a LOT more substance to this story than I expected from the opening issue (their relationship starting over developing a sex product! :D). I will admit that the uke fell in to the usual character tropes, but I still liked him. His vulnerable side softened his negative qualities and made him more endearing. And full marks to the seme for taking consent seriously (the uke trying to hit on him while drunk of his ass). I also liked that he was such a good reader of people and all round nice guy. And the 'guard dog' thing should have come off as cliche but instead came off as sweet. Really enjoyed this manga.

This is a cute, fluffy story with lovely art. Unfortunately, it falls victim to the same problem as other shorter BL's in that the ending is totally rushed and kind of unsatisfying. It also doesn't make it's time jumps very clear, and sometimes I would arrive on a page and get completely lost at the sudden change of scene/time/conversation. It was only when I went back that I realized, 'nope, not me skipping pages.' It is a sweet story, just not enough substance behind it to be memorable.

I was gonna give this a 5 star all the way up to the last issue, but then I docked a star because the ending felt very rushed and was kind of unsatisfying. It's not that it's a bad ending per se, it just feels week coming after the first five issues which were SO. DARN. GOOD! No seriously, I absolutely adored the first five issues. Takumi was such a genuinely nice guy, and I loved how Yukiya, for all his beauty, was so vulnerable. I actually thought he was prettier than his sister, and he's easily one of the prettiest drawn ukes I've ever come across. I loved watching how their relationship unfolded and evolved. It felt natural...right up until the end. Which was part of my issue with the ending. The other issue is that it was very unclear what the older guy's motives were towards Yukiya: was he obsessed with him or just genuinely using him as a model? The manga never made clear his motivations. But overall, nice manga and lovely art.
