I'm a huge fan of this author. The characters are always believable, the plot never feels forced, there aren't any eye rolling tropes, the art is fantastic, and above all the story always makes me feel good. There are lots of sexy scenes and Rai Yaezaki is so good at making sex feel sweet and tender even when it's rough and steamy. I will reread this again and again so it's well worth buying. I also highly recommend Twilight Sugar Cat, same author and also available on Renta (esthetically, it's a bit like these two characters in reverse).

This is a fantastic s&m story that really showcases a healthy, loving relationship. The author is either in the scene themselves or did the work to research it properly. While the dom has a lot of possessive or hardcore thoughts, he does not act on any of them without consent and really controls himself so he can take it slow and ease his newbie partner into it in a safe and comfortable way. He's also pretty worried (which really humanizes him) that he's taking things too far sometimes and checks in on his partner like a good dom should. Great post sex care too, he always compliments Toru letting him know he did well. It's not all about insults, pain, and making someone feel powerless. A sub can actually feel really empowered after a good session. Mizuki also handles his fame in a positive way. You don't see it done this way often and I was thrilled! This story is beautiful and I highly recommend it to anyone, you don't have to be into s&m, everyone can enjoy this adorable romance!
