I put off reading this for so long thinking I wouldn't like it but it is wonderful! Beautiful art and super sweet and painful story.

I liked this, but the entire thing was shallow, I don't think it a good idea to have characters who are meant to be emotionally complex if you're not going to flesh them out for us. There were plenty of smutty scenes (which we love) but a few of them lacked heat; maybe I'm just over reliant on sound effects? But if you're not going to use them the artwork needs to be completely enthralling, which it wasn't. I also think there was too much that was just left unexplained. The flashforward at the end was really abrupt but perhaps the mangaka wanted to let our imaginations fill in the blanks. Great premise for the story and all interesting characters just not enough of everything really.

I agree with both of the prior reviews - this is a lovely story, my heart broke in both chapter one and two. Reading through to the end it is a much deeper story than the title and cover art suggest. Absolutely worth a read.

Save yourself some time and skip this one. There is a lot this lacks like decent pacing, dialogue, artwork is alright (I saw one comment that dislikes the way the ukes butt is drawn and I have to agree) serious lack of character development until the second half so from about chp 5, a plot that was barely there... The pacing is the worst part of all this though, conversations that should have lasted three or four pages were cut off in one and then suddenly its a completely different scene, new conversation. The smut is alright, and we all know it's what we're here for (mostly); but it has a serious lack of build up and foreplay... Honestly just... don't bother.

I'm going to keep this short. Great story and interesting developments. This got real dark real quick. Just my cup of tea.
