Case's Reviews & Ratings

One dimensional. First ep spoiler: Upset with his neighbour for noise, he barges in, sexually assaults this neighbour (no prep, no lube, just revenge) and then blackmails him. I was perplexed by the likes and am glad I only rented the first comic.
Quality writing/translation and beautiful art. It is a slow burn romance, zero physical intimacy. I enjoyed the conflict, and pacing, and its a decent length. Note, the sequel (vol 2) resolves the story, so I recommend viewing the 2-volumes series as one book cost - especially since the second volume is shorter and more expensive on this platform. This was frustrating until I reframed it as an expensive single story in two volumes. A little easier to swallow.
I really enjoy Shimaji's characters - and their expressions!! I'm so keen to read the rest of the volumes when/if they become available but until then, this is a repeat read for me. There is plenty of naughty titillation but I appreciate how their characters are always imperfect and a bit messy. It's a great balance of emotion, substance and smut. Very talented author/illustrator.
It was not clear in the description, so let it be shared that the protagonist is in high school and coerces an underling (power dynamic/debt to family, not age) into sex through ultimatum. The art is good, the expressions sexy, but the plot / story telling are meh/flat. I was surprised based on the other reviewer comments. (I read two volumes).
Sexy, silly, and satisfying. Three cheers for muscles, glasses, and best buds.
The art is great and the story heartwarming - a jaded artiste weighed down by regret gets a breath of fresh air by invigorating a lethargic, young talent to be more than he himself was, and through that labour, comes to see the value in himself. Not the deepest story but satisfying - a yummy snack and a cozy queer snuggle.
Low contrast and difficult to see, the art is pretty but messy. The speech bubble placement is difficult to navigate and since both/all characters are without personality, it's difficult to tell/care who is speaking at times. The plot is flat, the writing is boring and simplistic, and the humour is a single note repeated over and over again. It isn't original and the story is two “smart” characters rationalizing…whatever convenient suggestion leads to sex. Nonsensical non-con from a secondary character to create conflict is as deep as this gets. The preview is the best part. I couldn't be bothered to try and make sense of the second and third story. It's…long. If I wanted to keep reading, this would be a selling point. Alas - no refunds.
Good pacing, spicy, and sweet.
Its wonderful. Mature, well written and emotional.
The art isn't bad, but the story is thin while feeling crammed with “things”. It feels a bit like the author looked up BDSM sex, and put in a muchmuch as they could, with little understanding of dynamics or build up. It depicts a sex work transaction to lover story in a muddled way. It was long, but not particularly satisfying.
