I would have given this 3-4 stars because the second story wasn't my cup of tea, and the teacher creeped me out (and I'm usually unfazed by most things). But the translation is so awful that I'm rating this 1 star… I can't even tell if it was machine translated or not because there were just missing pronouns and missing commas all over the place. It made the second story especially more difficult to read. I got this on sale, so I don't regret buying it, but I really need to reread an old favorite after this to cleanse my eyes.

This was one of the best series I've ever read. I cried so hard!! It tugged on my heartstrings so much. The story is beautifully written from beginning to end, and it's also very realistic. I can't express well in words how much I love this series without spoiling the entire thing, haha. Please give this series a chance, and let it warm your heart, too!!

I don't usually write reviews but really needed to for this series. This exceeded my expectations so much!! I'm a really big fan of the original series and am so happy Ingle has his own story. The character developments for Ingle and Byaku are really moving, and I actually really hoping for another sequel if possible! (If I'm being spoiled, I'd love to see a story for Tol as well!) The art is beautiful, and the characters and their feelings are very real. Please give the spin-off as well as the original series a chance! I'm going to reread the original series from the beginning again to savor everything one more time, hehe
