It was very, very refreshing to read a yaoi with two friend characters where their misunderstanding about where their relationship stands didn't get forced down your throat the whole volume. Any angst gets resolved properly and is not dragged out like so many manga artists like to do.Both characters are idiots but irrefutably into one another. There's lots of great kinky smut and beautiful art, along with a cute story that isn't prolonged or riddled with pointless drama when there could be yaoi sex! 13604 November 12, 2019

Really cute and hot! Although, there's not much plot. About... 70% of this manga are sex scenes? It's rather fluffy with a touch of angst. It's not clear on the preview but Nozomu (light-haired dude) is the top and Rin (dark-haired dude) is the bottom. 12591 October 04, 2019

This is a must read. It has great, detailed smut (if you're into that), and an awesome plot. All issues are resolved quickly instead of being dragged out for no reason. The love that grows between the two main characters is really heart pulling. Facial expressions are great, and super believable story. Totally recommend. This was about a thousand times better than I expected when I bought it. To start with, the art is phenomenal, the characters are distinct and attractive, and their expressions are clear and communicate feelings very well. I had hoped this impulse buy would be funny and hot (and it is!) but I didn't expect to get hit so hard in the feels when emotions came into play. There isn't a huge amount of drama to be found here, which is honestly refreshing. Don't think, though, that means this story doesn't hit satisfying emotional beats! Love epiphanies, confessions, and event the gradual, unremarked changes to their apartment as they grow closer more than bring the warm fuzzies to what is otherwise a PWP comedy. A seriously good read I know I'm going to come back to for the feels as much as for the steamy art. 20428 July 12, 2020

This is by far my favourite Yaoi manga; I've read it so many times.The art is the best I've seen in any manga, super realistic with gorgeous facial expressions (one scene in particular - "Do you want to go back to being just friends?" - the expressions make my heart hurt, they're so well drawn and emotive.)The body language is also realistic, every posture expresses the characters' emotions, from tense shoulders, sidelong looks, curled toes... the artist has put so much love and attention into this work and it shows. The love story is beautiful and made me very emotional, the sex scenes are super erotic. I defy anyone to buy this and not find it perfect. 22907 November 29, 2020

I absolutely adore this story! I'm new to manga and even newer to yaoi but this one is definitely a favorite. It's funny and sweet, the artwork is gorgeous and Rin and Nozomu are HOT. Two best friends bumble their way into a relationship and discover more about themselves and each other than they ever could've imagined. ***Spoiler***The only complaint I have is that I wish Rin could've "lost" his virginity too. That would've been interesting and hot and switching things up once in a while is sexy too. Can't wait to see more from this artist. 15378 January 21, 2020

I admit I gave this 4 stars because it wasn't a reversible/switch couple as the preview/cover was showing. Or, if this was a perfect world, I felt like the vibe of the desperate friend who wanted to have sex in the first place should have topped his bestie. I am sure I am just a small margin with this specific taste (I don't really like total subs unless they actually got me attached to them which this character didn't). I agree with SO many of the other reviews for this story.So... the first chapter starts with this guy (Rin) drawing what seems so be tentacle porn (no it isn't, its the "live snake bra" that the villainess makes an attack on the heroine with...yeah, nvmd), and then it kinda escalates into angst about why him and Nozomu drawing the doushisin manga just can't get girlfriends.So, that discussion kinda evolves into them doing rock-paper-scissors and having the loser wear cosplay, then they have sex... except it's Rin who gets to bottom and not Nozuma, who's wearing the outfit...So, after lots of drama, lots about them getting more sure of themselves, and them voilá: we are treated to this idiotically lovey dovey couple who really just belong together.I usually think these types of comedy-BL aren't really that funny - BUT THIS ONE WAS RIGHT UP THERE FOR ME.Loved it <3Really worth buying <3 21906 September 24, 2020

Definitely worth a permanent purchase! It starts out sort of silly with a typical setup but then quickly becomes really fun and heartwarming as the friends get closer to one another.
