I'm a sucker when it comes to this mangaka's work. It's so fluffy cute! It feels good. But even though it heavily implies that the guy is pretty serious about the girl with his actions and words, I'm greedy and want more about whether or not he's been with other girls, when it's so clear that the girl has zero experience. Just my little quirk. All in all this one was a cute frenemies to lovers, awkward young people realizing that they've always liked one another romance. The art is adorable. The second story is cute too, along the same lines as the first, the guy teases the girl he likes. Teasing can be a little confusing for the person who is being teased. Does he really like me? He can be so mean, it's not possible, right? But from personal experience, I too only tease the one I like, because I like them. It's elementary, but satisfying in a twisted way.
This one is too sweet! High school sweethearts for years, but because of his line of work they keep their appearance together hidden, sad. But when they're together they are just the cutest! I loved their interactions with one another, so typical of being in a long term relationship, but keeping it hidden from others kinda adds a bit of spice, because otherwise they're pretty vanilla. The fact that rumors were spreading around her was the catalyst needed to get their relationship to the next step, something she had given up on. Loved that this time we get more of a HEA. The way they got together in high school is so cute too! He's always been popular, but always had a crush on her too!
What do you get when you pair a socially awkward, yet beautiful older woman with a young handsome playboy? Crazy, intense and fast chemistry that's what! Spoilers!!!The h, Ayako is a virgin, surprise surprise! And that just makes Yuki more into her and while he usually only gets with girls that throw themselves at him, her pureness and naivety is driving him crazy, causing him to pursue her. In the staff locker room of all places. The art is cute and the artist does a really good job at portraying Yuki as this cute younger guy with his big hopeful eyes. Easy to understand why all the ladies want him. He doesn't seem like a jerk (so far), just young, dumb and full of...ya know that old saying
This mangaka is a genius! She's so not shying away from totally bizarre and outlandish characters, something all of her books have plenty of. This one was sweeter than the other two works on this site. I loved the first couple. The boss was such a horny and strange man, but held on to hope that he would win his guy over for like six months! That's loyalty right there. I laughed so much at all the crazy things that came out of Aoki's mouth, poor Tomo! The coworkers to roommates to lovers story was really cute. And the last story about the guy that finds his true match was pretty good too. Lots of kinks with this mangaka, something I didn't realize about myself in that I didn't hate most of them. This is definitely interesting and doesn't have any darker elements that make you break out in goosebumps. It's rather straight forward in its appeal of crazy and the crazy things we do when we fall in love. Also finding that one person who truly accepts all of us, flaws especially.
This was so cute! The female lead is definitely her own person. She knows who she is and does what she loves, who needs a man? Not her. And for ten years she's been doing her thing until she meets the arrogant tennis player. I liked how she had this incredibly strong sense of smell and could smell his scent and was completely taken with it and he vice versa. Loved that all of her research didn't prepare her for what he made her feel. Guess she was researching with the wrong guy all those years ago. I really like this second chances series, each story is really endearing, but I really wish there was more to their HEA. We get some closure, I just wanted more that's all.
So much detail in under 30 pages, unbelievable! This is good. I like age gaps where the woman is older. In real life I'm totally against teacher/student relationships, but in my fiction and manga, I'm like bring it! This one is so different compared to the other all boys academy with a female teacher lead and I'm liking the differences. That one was a gag comedy and this is darker. Art is really nice and clear. I'm hoping that there's a love triangle (there has to be one) with Ms. Hazuki, Ryuhei and Ryuhei's older brother. I'm also hoping that Ryuhei doesn't do smexy times with OW anymore, now that Hazuki is in the picture and he doesn't let his friends touch her. So far this first chapter is off with a bang and I can't wait for more!
After reading the first chapter I was so gone for this series. It's lol funny, plenty of steamy scenes, two very likable MCs and an interesting plot and enjoyable story. Torao is so cute! Didn't really get to know him to much as a boy, but as a new girl it's nothing but one funny moment to the next as he learns what it means to be in his new body and what his true feelings for Ryo are. Maybe not so much as enemies, but something more? I hate womanizers, who doesn't? But like that saying, the bigger they are the harder they fall and boy did Ryo fall hard for our little scrappy, plucky heroine (hero in disguise?). Love that even though he is a big time player, he confesses to Torao that he was always looking for the "one" and now he's found her. So kawaii! And I'm loving how each new chapter he is proving how devoted and changed he is all for Torao. No pressure right? Oh the misunderstandings and shenanigans this one gets into, hilarious! I think this has something for everyone to love!
What did I just read? I can't really describe this, but imma gonna try. This is definitely an unusual situation. We have two college students who live next door, one being a total playboy who can't say no to women (not very fond of weak willed men) and a "normal" girl next door. She likes their everyday routine of sharing movies and dinner, and even though he never puts the moves on her and continues going from woman to woman, she's cool with it. Until his childhood friend rocks their delicate foundation. What ensues when this feisty high school girl appears is interesting to say the least. The dynamics between all three is one of like a close-knit family. And how the two leads finally become a couple is also unusual, but I have to admit I didn't mind. Art is pretty. I will re-read this again and hope Noriko gets her own HEA too.
This was a story of depravity. The heroine is having an affair with her married boss for three years. She just goes along with his whims. She's great! (Insert sarcastic eye-roll). Ok so the story is off to a rocky start, since I couldn't care less about this heroine. And does she ever redeem herself? No! She continues having an affair while caring on with her newest coworker in a pseudo blackmail relationship. Where she feels like she has to do everything he wants or else. Really? But it's just her excuse, because she loves the embarrassing things he puts her through. I think this just says a lot in general about the daily pressures we put on ourselves and to prevent from cracking and doing something really bad, little acts of deparavity take some of that pressure off. Do I care about any of these people? No way! They're all horrible individuals, who don't care about anything else but self serving themselves. Art is whatever and there isn't really a huge plot here. Just run with it.
Ugh!!! Drama overload. I hate how one misunderstanding leads to the break up. Not only that, but the female mc never falls in love again and stays single and celibate. While the guy dates other girls. Not cool. Now there is some sort of love triangle with another guy, who I just wish for once the lead can fall in love with too. But the heart wants what the heart wants. To top it all off, one of the male leads exes is back in the picture and seems like the cold, calculating type. I hate how her emotions are all over the place, but that's probably what makes her so relatable? Been there honey. The art is ok and I feel like I have to know how this all ends, so I'm waiting for volume three.
