the ML's looks are mellow, but he's definitely not a mellow person lol. he tries to do the deed with FL when she is asleep due to the latter consuming alcohol. I know consensual sex is unfortunately common in smutty/mature romance manga, but I hate how much ML gets away with it here. the art is nice though, and I like how cool-faced and relatable FL is. all in all, this is not my cup of tea, but it is otherwise well drawn and interestingly written, with a great translation provided by the localization team here.

5 stars because I'm loving the art and this weird awkward ambiance going on. But I seriously wanna throat punch Hina right now and knock some sense into Rui. They haven't seen each other in years and have both forged a path to their dream careers and are finally reunited. But I'm so curious to know what's happened in between those years and why he made such a weird promise all those years ago. Also I like confident guys but he's a bit much lol!! But him having braces in hs is super cute and refreshing!! Bring on the drama and romance!!! I wanna swoon!!

Soooo that's it? We aren't going to find out why he is so anxious and what he is hiding from her? Story was good art was good but I think it ended too quickly.

I really just love the ones where people are tortured souls looking for a little validation for their existence. It's probably not the healthiest thing, but I think it's a very *real* thing. And Hina fits the bill. He's a tortured guy looking for someone to love him, and he wants that someone to be, desperately, the girl he's loved since high school. I really like this one. The art is good, the story is better, and the dynamic between Hina and Rui works. I like that she backs out whenever she's feeling a little too emotionally out there and try's to change the subject. I like that Hina is always pushing her a little bit more than she's comfortable with. This one is really relatable and worth the read. I hope they continue it.
