The art style is really nice and the characters actually look like man. Tenma and Yoshio‘s relationship is one that is build on trust and respect. The two are really green flag and it is super cute how, after more than 10 years together, they still show just how crazy about each other they are.

I found it as a different lens of an omegaverse where you have a dedicated unique alpha and an unexpected looking omega. It is smutty but also wholesome as they navigate their developing relationship.

Been into vtubers for the past couple years so I thought when I saw this manga it got me immediately interested but I got more drawn in on the cute relationship but I also resonate with Mayo about being self conscious and not being as confident in themselves.

I'm a longtime fan of geikomi, and this is one of the best starter titles for a BL reader looking for something new. The art is excellent and uncensored, with body types that are more 'fit' instead of 'huge". This title is my go-to recommendation for Mentaiko, bara, and geikomi, and it's absolutely worth a read.

Kotaro is so cute with his inexperience and naïveté, and I loved seeing him get swept away by Aoi's teasing. Aoi also starts off as a pretty sleazy guy (TW: coercion in the first chapter), but over the course of the story, he gets a chance to show how much of a lovable idiot he really is (hetare seme).

This is a somewhat idiosyncratic series among yaoi manga. Chaste enough to pass rigorous inspection by Chinese airport customs, it's been affixed with a somewhat unfair 4.4-star rating. It's refreshing that even though the two leads have a common interest in music performance, they have their own subplots outside of the story's main premise, and each of their arcs doesn't revolve around the other person.

Fukami is my GOAT, alright. He and Kaji are so fucking funny. They're perfect for each other even though they're not on the same wavelength. If you've only watched the OVA, this is the one time that I'll be snobbish about adaptations and ask you to read the source material.

Older BLs tended to touch some complicated topics more often like "I have fallen in Love with the man that raised me". While the topic and the BL in itself is pretty plot heavy it also has some funny moments, thanks to the uke being "easy" and the seme being a bit of an over protective father figure. So its still an easy and fun read!

I started reading it back in the early 2010s and it quickly became one of my all time favourite Manga, a Manga that I will always recommend! Acid Town has a complex worldbuilding and heavy, sometimes hard to digest, story. It focuses less on the romantic relationships and more on the trauma and conflicts. If you like dark, serious stories, with less romance and good pacing and a suffering MC/Uke, I would recommend it!

Ok, this is my favourite of Guri Nojiros works and also the first I read by sensei. I actually don't want to say too much about it because I think the ending is what makes it very incredible. It would have worked a bit better with two volumes but you will still fall in love with both characters, trust me. Its a very emotional story with beautiful art.

I love me some unserious, funny stories with a naively simple but charming bottom coupled with a pervy but devoted top! There's no idols in this story--just two regular guys--but it made me understand just how valuable finding your 'oshi' or stan to make a hard life more bearable.

Chiaki Kashima has been my favorite mangaka for quite some time. When I saw that she was releasing a student-teacher BL, I was kinda skeptical but gave it a shot anyways because I trust her storytelling skills. And I was right to, as it surpassed my expectations in every single way. What seemingly starts off as a romantic comedy turns into something much deeper, and I seriously can't recommend it enough!

The concept of two bros finding naughty doujin about themselves and deciding to hook up about it had me rolling when I first stumbled upon this series. These two did not disappoint, and I found myself laughing and fangirl squeeing in equal measure as I read.
