In real life this would be horrible. Despicable. Absolute trash. Buuuuut it's not and I think the landlord is hot. I'm a rotten person. I want to know more about this sleazy landlord. He can't be doing this to all of his tenants right?

[Currently only ch 1 published] A little something for fans of the more harassing kind of romance. Having only chapter one out, there isn't much to lead with. Simply put, it only establishes the opening for the steamy actions to ensue (hohoh) but not much to get you invested in the characters. I'd even go as far to say that the ML may be unlikeable for those who aren't big fans of the black-bellied type without any sweetness. Pretty much, it's harrassment without feeling, if that makes any sense. I'm sure this will develop eventually, and we will get a taste of the ML's affection for the FL, but nothing really sells it right now. The sex scenes aren't too much to write home about either; it's a little stiff for my personal tastes. This is something I'd casually follow and maybe spend leftover points on. However, I do hope to see the story develop more as it seems there is ample room for an interesting story.

Don't let the title fool you & 2nd chances are sometimes worth it. I previously stopped reading this on ch1 given how shitty the pretext was. Then I saw that it had more chapters a few days ago so I gave it another shot. It's surprisingly has a solid story that I wasn't expecting and I am actually learning something from their perspectives. I'm gonna follow this now. Hoping for a good if not happy ending for them.

Just read it, you won't regret it! In the beginning I was a little apprehensive with the storyline, but I absolutely love this manga after reading through to the most recent chapter. I love the character development and unraveling Koichi's mysterious back story. It also develops into a really sweet romance. Just what I needed with all the crappy things going on right now. I can't wait for the next chapter to come out!

I finally gave this a try when 15 chapters were already out. I normally don't follow through with a series when I have to play that much catch up, but this one is really different. The premise is not _exactly_ misleading, since “paying the rent” with sexy times is a repeated theme, but the way it shakes out is as a playful game between two people who are actually into it (and, of course, into each other). I know I'm repeating myself here lol but their relationship is very playful and I think you just don't see enough of that. Their interactions are refreshing, funny, and feel pretty genuine. And both main characters have or develop lives and friends and non-romantic relationships outside of the romantic pairing. The dialogue resembles real conversations, and the drama (and least so far) also feels genuine. It seems like all the characters were designed with care and thoughtfulness. Given allll that, yes, I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!

Well, agreed! If this stuff happens in RL, it's really horrible! But when it comes to manga. This kind of explicit is absolutely good! I like landlord appearances here and the FC is cute too ^^
